Juvenile Fire Setter Prevention Program
The Juvenile Fire Setter Prevention Program evaluates referred juveniles and determines the best course of action and/or intervention that will change the juvenile’s fire-setting behavior.

How to Enroll:
There are two methods. The first is through a volunteer referral where a parent or adult guardian realizes a problem exists and refers the child to the Bensalem Fire Rescue for assistance. The child is screened to understand the extent of the situation, through a process that is approved by the National Fire Protection Association.
The second method is court ordered. A Fire Investigator and Police Detective will petition the juvenile be court ordered to complete the program, after setting a willful and/or malicious fire.
