The EDC is comprised of several business people who volunteer their time and support economic initiatives for the betterment of a community. An example would be seeking and evaluating the financial wherewithal of any proposed business development that integrates with Bensalem’s Comprehensive Plan. The board works with business people to provide streamlined business protocols with the township, tax abatement for certain types of business, and many more services.
