BENSALEM TOWNSHIP IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED WITHIN 30 MILES OF ONE-SIXTH OF THE POPULATION OF THE UNITED STATES 

Located immediately northeast of the City of Philadelphia, Bensalem Township is easily accessible by all modes of transportation. Routes for motor vehicles are extensive and include major arteries of transportation such as Interstate 95, the Pennsylvania Turnpike and U.S. Route 1, State Routes 13, 132 and 513 also run through the heart of Bensalem.

SEPTA’s Trenton and West Trenton line and AMTRAK’S Metroliner provide commuter rail service. Several major Conrail lines passing through makes business freight easy and there is park and ride for ease of transportation for motorists. The Delaware River flows along Bensalem’s eastern border, providing shipping access for raw materials and goods movement. The Township has over four miles of river frontage, offering access to most vessels.

Northeast Philadelphia Airport is conveniently located only 20 minutes away and offers a full line of aviation services. Regular flights and domestic long-distance flights are available through Philadelphia International Airport, about 25 miles away.
